About

It started as a roast of my own love life.

My first shirt said “certified situationship expert.” I made it to roast myself. Then I asked my friends what theirs would say, and Sparkbite was born: silly shirts you help write.

Size & fit.

Baby tee runs snug on purpose. Between sizes? Size up — it’s built for that too.

The baby tee is a fitted, cropped cut, and right now that means S–XL. A wider size range is part of Future moves (see About). Measurements are the maker’s, taken flat, in inches. It stretches up to 2x and is cut to fit before and after washing.

A note from the founder

I made this out of spite. Mostly.

Hey, you.

Thank you for being here, and for actually looking through this site. (It took forever, I’m very proud of it!)

Sparkbite was born out of spite. The first shirt I ever made said “certified situationship expert.” as a way of roasting myself for the almost-two-year “relationship” I’d talked myself into.

While I waited for it to arrive, I asked one of my closest friends what her shirt would say. Her answer became one of our first sparks: “not now kitten, daddy needs ___.” That’s when it clicked. A silly shirt you get to help write, without the stress of designing one from scratch. We write the setup. You pick the word that makes it yours.

My friends and I have always been the loudest, most exaggerated, most chalant people in the room. Open to new people and new experiences, but mostly just having fun, anywhere and everywhere. Sparkbite is how I spread that around. It’s a small protest against standardized personalities: a shirt that shows yours, and one you had a hand in making.

Dance viciously. Laugh boisterously. Connect deeply.
That’s what Sparkbite is about.

Thank you again for being here. I can’t wait to see what you make, because you guys are sooo funny.

Calista, founder

Every shirt is a Spark and a Bite.

The Spark is the line we wrote. The Bite is the word you land on. Together they’re one sentence you wear.

You don’t type anything. There are 450+ lines in the bank, and you spin until one of them is obviously yours.

The tees

One cut: a fitted, cropped baby tee in 100% combed cotton that stretches with you. Made in Los Angeles by workers earning fair wages, printed to order, and ships within 3–5 days. One typeface, one color, one line across the chest.

Future moves

What’s next, in roughly this order.

  1. 01White tees.

    Same cut, charcoal print. Soon.

  2. 02The community vote.

We post a spark, you finish it with your own word, and everyone votes on the favorites. The winner gets printed. We’re building it now.

  3. 03More sizes.

Fitted, cropped cuts stop at XL right now. A cut that goes further is on the list, and it matters to us.

  4. 04The tank.

A ribbed tank for the nights a tee is too much. We’re testing prints on it first.

  5. 05Our own warehouse.

Right now every shirt is printed to order by a production partner. The plan is to bring it home: our own stock, our own packaging, and shirts that reach you faster.

Shipping & returns

Made to order

Every shirt is printed after you order it. Orders ship within 3–5 days, and you’ll get tracking by email when yours is on its way.

Where we ship

We ship to most countries. Shipping and taxes are shown at checkout.

Outside the US

International orders can take longer to arrive, and your country may charge import duties or taxes when it does.

Delivery time

Usually at your door in about {{ deliveryDays }} days.

Checkout

Fourthwall, our store partner, is the seller of every product on this site. It runs checkout, payment and shipping, so your receipt and shipping emails come from them.

Returns

Because every shirt is made for you, we can’t take returns or exchanges for fit or a change of mind, unless the law where you live gives you a right to cancel (see below). Check the size guide before you order. It’s the maker’s real measurements.

EU, EEA and UK: your right to cancel

If you’re a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Fourthwall, the seller, handles it: use the withdrawal option in your order confirmation, or Fourthwall’s withdrawal form.

Damaged, misprinted, or wrong size

If your shirt arrives damaged or misprinted, or we sent a different size than you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo. We’ll send a free replacement, or a refund if we can’t replace it.

What counts as a misprint

Every shirt is printed one at a time, so the line can sit a little differently from shirt to shirt. A print that’s crooked, clearly off-center, on a seam, smeared or faded is a misprint, and we’ll replace it.

Lost packages

If your order hasn’t had a tracking update in 2 weeks, let us know and we’ll replace it.

Changes & cancellations

Need to change something? Email us right away. Once your shirt goes to print, it can’t be changed or cancelled.

Refunds

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card.

FAQ

Can I type my own words?

No, and that’s the point. We write the setup, and you pick the word that finishes it from the lines in the bank.

How does it fit?

Snug and cropped, on purpose. It stretches up to 2x and is cut to fit before and after washing. Between sizes? Size up. Measurements are on the Size & fit page.

What sizes do you have?

S to XL in the baby tee. More sizes are one of our Future moves.

How long until I get it?

It’s made to order and ships within 3–5 days. Then it’s up to the carrier.

Can I return it?

Not for fit or a change of mind, since it’s made just for you, unless you’re in the EU, EEA or UK, where you can cancel within 14 days. If it arrives damaged, misprinted, or the wrong size, we’ll make it right. Shipping & returns

Why is my receipt from Fourthwall?

Fourthwall is the seller and runs our checkout and payments. Your shirt is still ours, so email us with anything.

Will the print crack?

It’s a DTF print: it sits on the fabric instead of soaking in, so it moves with the stretch. Wash cold, inside out, and hang dry to keep it sharp.

How do I wash it?

Wash cold, inside out. Hang dry. It shrinks a little in a hot dryer, and it’s already snug.

Where is it made?

The tees are made in Los Angeles by workers earning fair wages, and printed to order by our production partner. Sparkbite is based in Seattle.

Can I suggest a word?

Soon. We’re building a way to send in your own words, and the favorites will get printed. Sign up on the Community page to hear when it opens.

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes, to most countries. Shipping and taxes are shown at checkout, and your country may charge import duties when it arrives. Shipping & returns

White tees?

Soon.

Terms

Effective date: October 10, 2026

Who’s who

ssparkbite.com is run by Sparkbite (Calista), based in Seattle, Washington, USA. Contact: [email protected].

Fourthwall is the seller

Sparkbite designs the shirts. Fourthwall is the seller of every product on this site. When you check out, you’re buying from Fourthwall, and Fourthwall’s Merchandise Terms of Service govern the purchase (payment, shipping, returns, refunds and your consumer rights). If anything on this site conflicts with those terms, Fourthwall’s terms win.

Prices and checkout

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any taxes are shown at checkout. Orders shipped outside the US may owe import duties or taxes on arrival. If a price on the site is wrong, we and Fourthwall may cancel the order and refund you.

Made to order

Every shirt is printed after you order it, and it ships within 3–5 days. See Shipping & returns for what to do if something’s wrong.

Your right to cancel (EU, EEA and UK)

If you’re a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. Fourthwall handles cancellations. Use the withdrawal option in your order confirmation, or Fourthwall’s withdrawal form. Nothing on this site limits that right.

What you see

The preview on the Build page shows how your line is printed. Each shirt is printed one at a time, so the line can sit a little differently from shirt to shirt. Colors can look slightly different on different screens.

Our designs

The lines, designs, site content, the Sparkbite name and the star are ours. Buying a shirt lets you wear it, gift it and show it off. It doesn’t give you the right to copy the designs or sell them on anything.

Using the site

Don’t misuse the site: no hacking, scraping, overloading it, or using it for anything illegal. Links to other sites (like Fourthwall or Google) are covered by those sites’ own terms.

No guarantees

The site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and running, but we can’t promise it’ll always be available or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Sparkbite isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Claims about a purchase go through Fourthwall as the seller. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA, except where the consumer law of your country says otherwise.

The rest

If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with Fourthwall’s Merchandise Terms of Service for purchases, are the whole agreement between us about the site. We may update them, and the effective date shows the latest version.
